Stress and the stress of stress is our topic for this show with our distinguished Psychologist from New York Dr. Debbie Heiser. The many health problems which are caused or exacerbated by stress, and what we can and should do about it, stress is everywhere. Our Boomers Rock Local guest is Brigit Hassig, well versed in this topic as well being the Director of Four Pointes Brigit has a very strong background in the stress of growing more mature.
Dr. Heiser covers the gamut of issues that stress can cause or can make worse including-

Stress is not good in constant doses; building awareness is a key to dealing with the busyness of the 21st century. Dr. Debbie will discuss some of the signs and symptoms. That even good things happening in our lives can lead to a build-up of stress.
Have you ever planned a wedding, a retirement, or had a job change?
Oh and we catch up on the multigenerational Brady Bunch family that is the Heiser household. With our matriarch Grandma Edith leaving for her winter break, the household is in the constant swirl of craziness. Fun stuff for sure!
Brigit jumps into the conversation and we pick up on the framing of stressors the Dr. Heiser mentioned. How objectifying as we age is a lead into identifying a story, which we all have at least one. Managing stress is a skill, and takes effort, mindfulness and strategies
