In fact, I’ve forgotten it a couple times when going to the gym and quite frankly felt naked the entire time I was training! It is so useful for me when tracking my level of exertion not only during cardio, but throughout my strength training portion of my workout. I am constantly looking at it between sets to see where my heart rate is at which gives me a direct indication of what my total caloric burn will be for the workout. Understanding your heart rate training zones and applying that to your workouts can supercharge your effort and give you the confidence to reach training levels that may have intimidated you before!
