The Irony of Job Change
Speaking of ironic, changing jobs regularly prepared John Tarnoff very well for the 21st century workplace – which is a challenging environment for Boomers. As John Says, “many of us have spent our entire careers with just one or two companies, and to be marginalized at work, or to get “downsized” as we are rounding the bend towards retirement (or what we had hoped would be retirement…) feels like a low blow”.
As the founder of ‘The Boomer Reinvention® System’ John shares his experience navigating jobs in Hollywood. His transition is also guided by his studies in psychology that led to John’s earning an MA, which then enabled his own career reinvention from film production to education and training.
