Six pack, washboard stomach, and rock hard abs are descriptions that relate to most goals people have when working through their exercise program. What we fail to remember is that underneath the obvious reasons for wanting a great looking stomach our core is essential for providing a quality foundation for your body.
I like to think of a human being’s core as the heart of their exercise program. If you suffer from a weak core, it will be immensely difficult to gain strength and balance in your workouts and will hinder us from progressing along our fitness continuum! Without that strong “heart” (core) our body just can’t perform the way we want it to when exercising, which can discourage us and make it hard to find motivation to get into the gym on a daily basis.
Don’t let a weak core derail your workout program! Make a concerted effort to gain core strength and work some core specific exercises into your program periodically to strengthen your body and the intensity of your workouts!———> R-Squared
